Bobbie Lynn McElroy, 71, of Jacksonville, AR, formerly of Jonesboro, died February 24, 2022 at Home Hospice Care in Little Rock following a courageous battle with cancer. Bobbie was born and raised in Jonesboro and attended Jonesboro schools. She was of the Christian faith. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Norma Sandefur Womack.

As a young woman Bobbie moved to Jacksonville where she met the love of her life, Larry McElroy. They were married for 54 years.

Bobbie was a gifted amateur photographer and a talented computer artist. She had a great love for all animals. She and Larry rescued and provided homes for countless animals throughout the years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her younger brother, Ken Womack.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Larry McElroy of the home; three sisters, Beverly Womack Pagan and Pam Womack Downs, both of Jonesboro, and Cindy Womack Young of Little Rock; she also leaves behind her special companion dog, Molly; many beloved nephews and nieces.
