Brenda Kay McMickle age 64 of McGehee, Arkansas left this life on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at UAMS in Little Rock.

Brenda accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Dermott, Arkansas.  She was a 1972 graduated of Dermott High School and was a retired CNA.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Maggie Sledge and brother, James (Frankie) Sledge.

She is survived by her former husband of 31 years and lifelong caregiver, David McMickle of Dermott; two sons, Dewayne (Miranda) McMickle of Dermott and Jonathan (Natasha) McMickle of Southaven, Mississippi formerly of Monticello, Arkansas; three sisters, Kathy (Jimmy) Woods of Monticello, Wendy Frizzel of Clarksville, Arkansas, Janie Sledge of Monticello, Arkansas;sister in law, Elaine Sledge of McGehee, Arkansas; four grandson, Garrett McMickle, Dakota McMickle, Princeton McMickle, DJ Smith; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10th at Temple Baptist Church 303 North Freeman Street Dermott, Arkansas 71638  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
