Carl Winfield Purdy was born on July 13th, 1959 in Trenton, Ontario, Canada. He was a very kind soul who always saw the best in everyone he met. His passions for fishing, hunting, and motorcycles came second only to his passion for family ties. He loved his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Lillian and Ted Purdy, and loving wife, Melody Purdy.

He is survived by his Siblings: Ralph (Carrol) Purdy, and Jayne (John) Rypkema; Children:Todd (Sherry) Purdy, and Alicia (Michael) Taylor; Grandchildren: Kyleeann (Jacob) Karaginides, Christian (Phoenix) Purdy, Anthony Taylor, Emilie Purdy, Noah Taylor, Katie Taylor, Everlee Taylor, Brandon Dowdy, and Chase Dowdy; Great-Grandchildren: Aurora Karaginides, and Miles Parks; and numerous nieces and nephews along with many people who cared deeply for him.

His memorial service will be held, Sunday, May 23rd, at St. Peter's Episcopal church in Conway at 4:00 p.m.. We invite you to join us to celebrate his life, he will be very deeply missed. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Service of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
