Carol Jane Oberste passed away October 21, 2020 after a courageous battle against cancer over the past two years.  Because of her strong will and determination, people often referred to Carol as "Warrior Woman."  Many people were inspired by her constant upbeat attitude as she faced her giants head on and trusted in God no matter how bumpy the path. If there was ever a time someone questioned the power of hope and happiness in fighting cancer, they only had to look at Carol for proof.

Carol was born on September 9, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Holy Souls and Mount St. Mary Academy and was a long time employee of Kroger on Chenal.  She is survived by and was so proud of her two sons, Ryan (Cristan) and Randall (Delaine) Busby, her greatest joys in life, grandchildren Kainan, Amelia, and William Busby, the huge Oberste family, and a multitude of friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at Maumelle Park Pavilion 5 starting at 2pm on November 1, 2020.  Wear your favorite tie-dye shirt and join us as we watch David come in last place in the annual Oberste chili cook-off yet again.
