Carolyn Burlene English, 67, was born on March 6, 1958, in Russellville Arkansas to the late Burl Proctor and Anna Joyce Boyd, She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 16, 2026, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock Arkansas.

Burlene, as she like to be called, married Carroll Wayne English. She was previously a long-time employee of Centerville Grocery, stock car track, Pottsville school bus driver, volunteer Pottsville firefighter, and numerous other jobs that she took pride in doing. Burlene was  preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Wayne English; an infant brother, Larry Proctor; parents; her brother, Jearl Proctor.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas and wife, Patricia English and Aaron English of Dardanelle, Arkansas: one daughter, Sarah and husband, Richard Benedict of Birta, Arkansas; grandchildren, Hannah Bowman, Elijah Jones, Jordan and wife, Annie Benedict, Tommy Raegan English, Corey Saunders, Kyle and wife, Vivian English, and Haylea Mabry; sisters, Karon and husband, Bruce Bishop of Texas, Sharon Perico of Florida, Ruby and husband, John Woods, Beverly Gonce and Debbie Wolfe of Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Lung Association.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
