Charles Kenneth White, age 80 of Little Rock passed away Friday, September 27, 2019.  He was born on February 17, 1939 in Quitman, Arkansas to the late Elizabeth and Charles White.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Ken married the love of his life,  Jane,  on May 27, 1960 and they raised two daughters together, Melanie and Susan.   He was a licensed optician for many years in Harrison and Little Rock.  He had a passion for playing guitar and played in several bands throughout his life.  He loved to play country-western and bluegrass music. Ken loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed gardening and creating wood carvings, furniture and walking canes. He loved being a Grandpa and was very proud of his grandchildren, Emily, Nick and Riley.  He was known for his friendly,  outgoing personality, love of telling stories, corny jokes and big bear hugs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jake White; son-in-law, George Rogers.

He is survived by his wife,  Jane White; daughters,  Melanie Rogers of Montgomery, Texas and Susan (Brad) Chafin of Little Rock; sisters, Maxine (Jim) Scobey, Nell (Wayne) Myers; brothers, Troy (Chris) White and Jerry (Ann) White; grandchildren, Emily Rogers of Spring, Texas, Nicholas Chafin of Fayetteville, Riley Chafin of Little Rock; many loved nieces and nephews.
