Cindy Ann Morris, 63, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on April 23. She was born on January 13, 1959, to the late Robert and Doris Gaye Morris. She was raised in Wynne, Ark., and Cleburne, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University before graduating from Arkansas State University.

Cindy was one of six children with two brothers, Robert Jr. and James, and three sisters, Lynda, Mary Joe and Patsy Lynn. She retired in 2015 to Jonesboro, Ark., from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service after 34 years after serving in positions in Texas, Alaska, Georgia and Tennessee and Arkansas. She later moved to Little Rock. She was a Craigheaed County Master Gardener, and a member of the Hillcrest Garden Club.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Patsy Lynn and James.

She is survived by her siblings, Lynda Nash and husband Rush of Jonesboro, Robert Morris and wife Janice of Wynne, and Mary Joe (Jodi) Morris of Little Rock; her nieces and nephews, William Crowder and wife Amber of Jonesboro, Tyler Nash and wife Charity of Jonesboro, Sarah Morris of Little Rock, Elizabeth Montgomery of Wynne, LaDonna Joplin of Jonesboro, and Rush Nash III and wife Sharmin of Arnold, Mo.; and 13 great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, at 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Family Fellowship Baptist Church, 2441 N. Old Greensboro Road in Jonesboro.
