Claud Nelson Rankin Jr. age 81, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born on August 19, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Claud Nelson and Emily Louise Cranford Rankin. He graduated from Central High School in 1955. Claud attended Ouachita Baptist University. On December 18, 1993 Claud married Bonita High Bernstein in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Rankin. Claud will be remembered for his kindness and wonderful sense of humor.

Claud is survived by wife, Bonita High Rankin of Little Rock; three sons, Claud (Pamela) Rankin III of Pearland, Texas, Theodore (Shelia) Rankin of Carlisle, Nathan (Nimfa) Rankin of Ft. Smith; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Henderson United Methodist Church, 13000 West Baseline Road Little Rock, Arkansas 72210 with Reverend Moss officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
