Daniel David Simmons died unexpectedly of cardiovascular disease on May 5, 2018. Daniel was born at home in Russellville, AR, on April 1, 1978. He loved to spend time outdoors and his dogs. He is survived by his mother Maggie Patton, sister Helen Shearer (James Shearer) and partner Robbie Smith. He had two nephews, Calvin and Christian Shearer. He was proceeded in death by his father, Joseph Simmons Sr., and his brother Joseph Simmons Jr.

His remains were honored at a private ceremony.   Cremation services are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501) 313-5431.
