David J. Applewhite, 82, went home to the Lord Friday, October 26, 2018.  He was born Feb. 12 ^th , 1936. David was a twenty-one year Veteran, who served with great distinction in Korea and Vietnam. He was of Native American heritage and enjoyed celebrating that heritage with beautiful handmade creations, with which he has blessed many. He was also a member of the VFW Post 2278 until such time as he could no longer participate. David was preceded in death by 2 children, Buddy and Dale

Survivors include his wife, Jody of Hot Springs; four children, Bloosm, Toni, Ronnie and Christy; sister, Bonnie of Flippin; brother, Jerry of Montana; and sister, AnnieBell of California; along with a host of extended family and friends.

We will be celebrating his life and achievements on Sunday, November 4 ^th , 2018 at Gulpha Gorge in Hot Springs.
