David Allen Carpenter, age 57 of Benton passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 in Grapevine, Texas.  He was born on December 17, 1961 in Ft Wayne, Indiana to Patricia Love and Daniel W. Carpenter.   David is preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley; his father, Daniel Carpenter; brother, Bobby Carpenter; nephew, Marcus; two grand-daughters, Jailynn and Katie.   He worked as a truck driver for Midwest Logistics.

David is survived by his wife, Geraldine Carpenter; children, Shalynn (Tim) Hakes of Ft Wayne, Indiana, Chris Terry of Ft Wayne, Josh Terry of Ft Wayne, Franklin (Ashley) Miller of Rose City, Michigan, Melissa (Joel) Clayton of Gaylor, Michigan, Janet (Sean) Huston of Anderson, Indiana; sisters, Teresa Zuber of Ft Wayne and Laura Carpenter; numerous grandchildren.
