David worked at Weyerhaeuser for over 30 years as a machine operator. He loved his job and had many stories to tell of the people he worked with and the job he held. David was always there to help and was a kind soul. He was a family oriented man who loved spending time with his family especially outdoors. He felt this gave him more opportunities to form a closer bond with no interruptions. David loved hunting deer, squirrel, raccoon and rabbit was his favorite. He loved listening to the Beagels whom he raised and trained for rabbit hunting. He loved fishing, working in his garden and speeding countless hours working at the deer camp with his brother, Jim. Nothing meant more to him than his wife, Hazel Hogue, his family, and outdoors, being able to enjoy them all together. He loved teaching the younger generation.
David left everyone he touched with many memories and will be deeply missed by everyone who came in contact with him especially his family who loved him dearly. He left us with a huge void in our lives.
