Peacefully at home with family by her side, Dorthey Mae Dutton passed away at the age of 87 on March 24, 2023 in Little Rock, AR.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Deborah (Michael) Jordan and Diane Dutton; twin granddaughters, Haley and Cassidy Dutton.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Donald Dutton; brothers, Joseph and Paul Pinkston; parents, Clarence Eugene Pinkston and Greeta Mae Gardenhire.

There was very little Dorthey didn't try and become skillful at in her lifetime. She was always active and her hands were rarely still. She excelled in everything from her studies, photography, gardening, to building with the skill of a stonemason, sewing, and fixing everything else in between. Her husband would joke that no present would make her happier than a new power tool.

She was not only amazing in everything she did, but was admirable to the people she loved. There wasn't a skill that she didn't perfect more than being a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She did everything to show her family how much they were loved. It was obvious to everyone that she did and would do anything for her children and grandchildren. She was the utmost example of what it means to give unconditional love.

She gave it her all to the very end and we are all grateful to have been loved by her. She left a big impression that will be told for generations.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
