Douglas Ray Jones, 62, died October 21, 2022, at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock, AR. He was born November 30, 1959 at Andrews, TX, to John Thomas and Maxine Anna Omo Jones.

Doug graduated from ATU in 1983 with a BS in Computer Science. He was a computer programmer for Arkansas Nuclear One at Russellville, AR; Thiokol Astronautics at Ogden, UT; Wal-Mart Information Systems at Bentonville, AR and delivered to schools for Samaritan Community Center in Rogers, AR.

At a young age, he made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ followed by baptism. He was a member of Cross Church Pinnacle Hills; a member, along with his life long school buddies, of the Big "L" Hunting Club and a member of his Golfing Group in NW Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Michael Jones; sister, Barbara Trenchard; and nephew, Trey Trenchard.

Doug is survived by: daughter, Erin Jones and boyfriend, Eric Kaufman, of Bella Vista, AR; son and daughter in love, Braden and Lindsey Jones of Haskell, AR; grandchildren: Elliee, Ezra, and Lilly Jones; sister-in-love, Jamie Jones of Nevada, TX; brother and sister-in-love, Glenn and Toni Jones of Andrews, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Mike Fultz of Clarksville, AR; brother-in-law, Bob Trenchard of El Paso, TX and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be Friday, October 28 at 2pm at Samaritan Community Center, 1211 West Hudson Rd, Rogers, AR 72756 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his favorite non-profit: Samaritan Community Center.   Cremation services are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
