Dovie Arlene Ayers (Barnett) age 68, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas.   She was born on June 16, 1957 in Bradford, Arkansas.  Dovie studied Practical Nursing at White River Vo-Tech. She went on to lead a long and successful career as both a military and civilian nurse. Dovie was a dedicated and deeply generous person. She spent her final years in Dierks, Arkansas, surrounded by family she loved.   She is preceded in death by daughter, Misty Diana Stephens; several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ayers; sons, David Armer and his wife, Marci and Derek Armer and wife, Caitlin; sister, Linda Fuller,;granddaughters, Siera Armer, Braelyn Armer, Haven Armer, Coralie Armer, and Lexy Oaks, grandsons Jonathan Armer and Gabriel Armer; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
