Edward Grady Ross Jr., 78, died Sunday, February 9th at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Ross Sr. and Martel Daniel Ross, his brother Daniel Ross, and his wife Joy Ross.
He is survived by his sons, Stephen Ross (Ellyn) of Memphis and Michael Ross of San Francisco, as well as his siblings, Bill Ross of Peachtree City, Georgia and Cynthia Buehling of Little Rock and his loving grandchildren, Madison and Frances.
Mr. Ross spent his career educating children, as a Band Director and High School Principal. Ed loved working in smaller school districts all over Arkansas, spending time in: Des Arc, Osceola, Mayflower, Harrisburg, Armorel, Biggers Reno and Cross County.
Mr. Ross was a member of Holiday Hills United Methodist Church in Greers Ferry, Arkansas, where he served as Choir Director for several years.
Memorial services will be held at the Holiday Hills United Methodist Church in Greers Ferry on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at 1pm. The family will receive guests in the church's Fellowship Hall following the ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be made to the Daniel Ross Memorial Scholarship fund at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
