FL Watson Jr., age 80 passed away of Covid-19 on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was born on April 20, 1940 in Holly Grove, Arkansas to Mattie Jewell Chastain Watson and FL Watson Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Stanley R. Watson and Anthony Watson. FL Watson is survived by his son Wayne (Amanda) Watson. His grandchildren Ashley Martin, Joshua Watson, Jacob Watson and Christopher Watson. His brothers Johnny Watson, Herman Watson, and his sisters Sarah Ottley, and Cynthia Watson.

He was larger than life and had the ability to light up the room with just his smile. He attended Fairview High School and after high school he went on to join the Army. He then settled down in life to raise his son. Some of his favorite things to do was spend time with his grandkids and he loved watching football with his son.

Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate his life in their own way, raise a glass of their favorite drink in his memory. Instead of flowers do an act of kindness for someone in need in honor of him.

He was cremated and a memorial headstone will be placed at his family's monument at Bethesda Cemetery in Camden Arkansas.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
