Gordon (Pete) Caple Jr. 53 of Cabot, AR passed away July 12,2022. He was born February 18, 1969 in Little Rock, AR to Gordon Caple Sr and Barbara (Babs Shaw) Smith. Pete was an auto mechanic for 30 plus years, and after retiring he worked at 1-30 Speedway & Dairy Queen doing General Maintenance. He enjoyed dirt track racing whether he was racing or watching. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years Carmen Caple, two daughters Alexandra (Alex) Caple and Victoria (Tori) Caple, his mother Barbara (Babs) Smith, sisters Cheryl Charming, Carolyn Moor, and Charlie Weaver (Philip), along with his nieces Carly Burnett, Leslie Weaver, Mackenzey Moor, Megan Moor, Shaylynn Collins, Rainey Bingaman, Guilianna Bingaman, and nephews Bentley Bingaman and Greyson Bingaman.

He was preceded in death by his father Gordon Caple Sr, uncle Bob Shaw, and grandparents Cecil and Ruby Caple.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, July 22, 2022 from 6-9pm at the Benton Event Center Ballroom.
