Obituary

Grace Joyce "Bucket" Lee was born on January 6th, 1965, to the late Roy and Kris Lee of Mount Vernon, Arkansas.
Bucket tragically passed away on Sunday, September 26th, 2021 on "The Hill" located in Mount Vernon, Arkansas.
She graduated from Mount Vernon- Enola High School in 1983 and went on to the University of Central Arkansas to
graduate with a Masters of Science in Education in August of 1994.  In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bubba" Lee, and grandparents Robert Thomas Hamby, Stella Hamby, Roy E. Lee, Dr. Harriet Boardman, and Dr. Archibald Little.

Bucket is survived by her three children, Jordan Sullivan (Amber), Jacie Weaver (Lamar), and Jared Sullivan
(Katie). She was a loving Gigi to her grandchildren, Jhett Sullivan (parents Jordan and Amber Sullivan), Mylee
Scott (Amber Sullivan), and Marshall Speer (Amber Sullivan). Bucket is also survived by her brother Jim Lee and
sister Barbara Warren. Bucket had many nieces and nephews she loved dearly as well.

Joyce worked within the education field for 33 years. She worked as a teacher, principal, and ended her education
career as a Special Education Director. Bucket's hobbies included riding horses, taking pictures, playing with her
dog Gus, talking with her children, babysitting her nephews, walking everywhere that she could on "The Hill", and
spending as much time as she could with her family and friends.

Bucket was a very passionate person and gave her all in every aspect of life. She loved her family wholeheartedly
and loved to support and cheer them on in every endeavor they chose. Some of her favorite memories were in the
arena, watching her kids practice (for the upcoming rodeo or roping, etc..). She did not just love her kids, but she
loved all kids. She loved watching her students learn and grow, and she would not give up until she saw her students
succeed. Bucket was also known to help any child in need, even if that meant giving the shirt off her back or the
shoes off her own feet. Bucket had an incredible passion for animals. Whether it was a horse, dog, goat, or a duck,
Bucket was surely going to be petting it and probably have it in the house at some point before it was all over. One
of her most memorable rodeos all year was The Critter Scramble Rodeo. She got to be around her two favorite
things, kids and little animals.

Bucket also had a true love for pictures. She was always ready to snap one of you! She enjoyed having her hair,
makeup, and nails "done up" just right to pose for that perfect snapshot. What she probably loved most of all was
her family and "The Hill." She enjoyed riding her palomino horse, "Little Yellow Mare", and walking from the
south end to the north end of the place just to check it out and to get her "steps in" for the day. She enjoyed her visits
with Barbara, "Barb", working calves "day thuggin" with her brother Jim, and spending time with Jesse, Jennifer,
and Jim's kids when they were home.

Bucket will always be remembered in this family for her famous "Christmas morning breakfast" where her
chocolate gravy was always on the menu! She will also be remembered for her kindness, love of children, animals,
passion for education, and the legacy she will be leaving on "The Hill."
