Hope Harris 60 of Alexander, AR passed away after a brief, unexpected illness on Friday, May 7, 2021 at UAMS in Little Rock, AR.

Hope was born in Connecticut to Vivian and Robert LeHoullier. She attended Bryant High School and the University of Arkansas Little Rock. While in Little Rock, Hope met her life partner and soulmate, Jack Christie. They were inseparable from the beginning and were together for over 30 years.

Hope was a wonderful friend to so many, an impressive employee in every job she held and a devoted and resolute family member. Her most important job was that of a caregiver. Both of Hope's parents lived near and she gently and compassionately cared for them until they passed away, both in their 90s. She was the primary caregiver for her husband, Jack, during his battles with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for which her Christie family were eternally grateful. Hope became a sister and a daughter to the Christie family who were devastated by the loss of their beloved family member.

Hope was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian and Robert LeHoullier; her brother, Rocky. She is survived by husband, Jack Christie; two sisters, Diane Stuckart of San Antonio, Texas and Pam (Jim) Wimmer of Troy, VA and a host of extended family and friends. Let us not forget that Hope's beloved furbabies whom she dearly loved and doted on daily, Tess and Jethro, were also left behind and are deeply mourning her loss.

Hope was a strong, vibrant, intelligent woman who made an indelible impression on everyone she met with her charm. She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
