IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jackie (Jack)
Carroll Standridge
May 10, 1944 – December 18, 2021
Jackie "Jack" Carroll Standridge, born May 10, 1944, to Dorothy Willcutt Standridge Earl and Shady Standridge in England, Arkansas, passed away December 18, 2021.
Jack loved his wife of 57 years, Pat, and cherished his entire family. Jack and Pat's home was the center for all family gatherings where he entertained kids and adults as Jack Rabbit finding a lucky egg in each child's basket, and delivering a gift as Santa Jack to every child, no matter if naughty or nice.
He retired from Teletype / AT&T after 30 years of service, where his skill and personality made almost everyone want to know Jack. He loved visiting with all his friends, and especially talking about cars where his knowledge was encyclopedic.
He is survived by his wife Patricia "Pat" Scruggs Standridge, son Jackson "Jackie" and his partner Mark Collins, daughter MaryAnn Standridge, grandchildren Margaret and Corbin, brothers Harold and Ronnie (Shirley), sisters Polly Bascue and Jane Campbell, and many nieces and nephews.
The family is especially thankful for the staffs of the UAMS ICU and hospice care teams.
An informal celebration of Jack's life will be held on Sunday, January 23, at the I Can Resource & Arts Center located at 1040 Angel Court in the East End community south of Little Rock, where all of his friends and family are invited to visit from 1:00 to 4:00.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be given to the Arkansas Food Bank, 4301 W. 65 th Street, Little Rock, AR 72209, www.arkansasfoodbank.org . Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
