James "Jimmy" Dean Goodwin, 52, of Little Rock passed away on January 12, 2025 due to complications from a major stroke. Jimmy was born on June 17, 1972 to Dean Goodwin and the late Patti Beall.

He was a 1990 graduate of West Memphis High School.

Jimmy loved traveling and found joy in meeting new people and trying new things. He was passionate about his work in the service industry and loved being a waiter. His love for people was an amazing thing to see. There will never be another soul created that is as pure as our dear Jimmy, and he will be greatly missed by all.

Jimmy loved spending time with friends and family, especially if they were playing trivia and drinking an ice-cold beer. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed listening to 80s music, floating the rivers, and sending funny memes to all his loved ones.

In addition to his mother, Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra (Thammavongsa) Goodwin.

He is survived by his father, Dean, and step-mother Jamie; sister, Brandi; brothers, Brian, Jared, Casey and Jake; son, Michael; grandsons, Mason and Wyatt; granddaughter, Flossie, and a host of other family and friends that he cherished dearly.

No service will be held but there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas.
