James Lee McDaniel, age 38, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024.  He was born on November 7, 1985 in Wynne, Arkansas to Jesse McDaniel and Sheila Proctor.  Jimmy was a country boy through and through.  He was as real as real can get.  Jimmy was a true family man and loyal friend.  He loved everything to do with the outdoors, whether it be farming, hunting, fishing, hiking, or working on anything that had a motor.  Jimmy always took care of all of us no matter what.  His family was his life. Pure and Simple.  Jimmy is preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Willa Dean McDaniel; uncle, David Junior McDaniel, Steven (TA) McDaniel and Michael Smith; sisters, Ashley Searcy and Brittany Searcy; niece, Effie Swarie; maternal grandpa, Julian Roger Proctor, grandma, Mary Elizabeth Bell; uncles, Danny Smith and Adam Smith.

Jimmy is survived by wife, Christina Grilliot McDaniel; children, Cole Lee Alexander McDaniel, Sophie Paige McDaniel, and Jesse Allen McDaniel; father and step mother, Jesse Lee McDaniel and Cindy Renae McDaniel of Mt View, Arkansas; paternal grandpa, David Jerome McDaniel of Vilonia, Arkansas; mother and stepfather, Sheila Proctor Colb and Patrick Dean Colb of Vilonia; maternal uncles, Julian "Robert" Proctor, Jon Proctor and Roy Jr Smith; best friend and uncle, Lumas Barker; brothers and sister-in-law, Steven and Connie McDaniel of Vilonia; Adam Scott McDaniel of Vilonia; sisters and brother-in-laws, Kristyl (Kristi) and John Altes of Vilonia; Kelly and Todd Smith  of Wynne; and Katlyn (Katie) and Ryan Schecter of Conway; nieces and nephews, Britteny, Skyler, & Hunter Terry; Daisy & Haley McDaniel, Anthony, Zander, & Trinity; Conner, Avery, Brinley, & Kinsley Smith; and Glenn & Zoey Schecter.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Conway Cowboy Church 12 AR-36 Conway, Arkansas 72032 with Debi Weaver officiating.  Please come as you are; Jimmy wouldn't want it any other way.
