Obituary

Jesica Lee York, beautiful daughter and a true gift from God, was born on March 25, 1982 to Lori Vanesa Robinson and Robert Ray York. Jesica lives today celebrating the goodness of the Lord. She left us on the morning of January 21, 2026, at the age of 43 after a courageous, long-fought battle with cancer.  Jesica was a devoted veteran and started her prestigious career in the Air Force at the Special Ops Base in Hurlburt Field, Florida. She served in the Air Force in the medical/dental field and obtained 11 performance awards/medals including a National Defense Service medal and Outstanding Unit Award with Valor medal. She had a brilliant mind and her education included 4 degrees including a Master of Science in Operations Management. Additionally, she held a Federal Contracting Certification and was a CPP (Certified Procurement Professional). Besides the Air Force, she was especially proud of her career for the Federal Government and also for Boeing.

Jesica was a beacon for kindness and love. She volunteered her time serving at homeless shelters and other volunteer community projects including Habitat for Humanity and the Humane Society. She had a real love for all animals, especially dogs. She was also passionate about experiencing God’s creation outdoors, spending time hiking and backpacking with family and friends.

Jesica is so loved by her family members: her step-mother, Myra York; her brothers, Taylor York & Payton Andrews,;her aunts and uncles; cousins: Traci & Gregg Hill (Wheeler and Spencer), Stacey & John McKay (Rachel, Sarah, Anna and Joshua), Dana & Cory Mahoney (Ashley, Nathan, Landin, Kailee and Jacob), Cara & Joe Little (Shawnee, Bailey and Audie) and Drew Boyett (Tori).

Today we are confident Jesica is safe and secure in heaven, happily content on the laps of grandpa Franklin Boyett and Billy Bert York, Sr. We are also sure that her grandmothers, Lindi Boyett and Jean York-Beatty are waiting their turn to hold her. She is meeting for the first time, her beloved uncle; Billy Bert York, Jr. We will remember Jesica for her splendid nature, her playfulness and she will always be loved by family on both sides of eternity. Until we see her again, we know she will live every moment loved by Jesus and surrounded by people who love her.

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

” Zephaniah 3:17
