John Charles Jarboe, age 77 of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021. He was born June 19, 1943 in Parsons, Kansas to LaVerne and Mary Jarboe. He dedicated his life to music and music education, as an instructor of string music at public schools in Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri and as a member of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra for 15 years, as well as the Nashville Symphony and other symphonies on the east and west coasts. John was preceded in death by his father, LaVerne; Mother, Mary; and brother, Raymon.

John is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Jarboe; daughters, Susan, Maria, and Christina (Justin); son, Jeffrey; grandchildren, Isabella and Jackson; and sister, Marcia Vogin of Maryland.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestras or First Methodist Church – Little Rock.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501) 313-5431
