Joyce Ann Dunavan age 73, of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away peacefully Thursday, February 6, 2025 in Little Rock.  She was born on August 18, 1951 in Holly Grove, Arkansas to Sophia Ford and Earl Skinner.   Joyce had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. She was a faithful Christain woman and enjoyed reading and fishing but most of all being with her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a beloved mother and awesome Gaga.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Sophia "Sophie" Skinner; brothers, Roy Skinner, Buddy Skinner, Vernon Skinner, Henry Skinner, Bobby Skinner, Jimmy Skinner and John Skinner; sisters, Dora Bailey, Collene Chapman, Ginger Rhoads, Erlene Booker, Betty Ruth George and Shirley Parker.

Joyce is survived by daughters, Kim Milam and Jonna Turner; brother, Walter Skinner; grandchildren,, Zac Griffith and wife Libby Griffith, Julia Turner, Andrew Milam and Jancey Turner; great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Griffith; ex-husband and special friend Gary Dunavan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Windsong Church of Christ, 3 Windsong Dr. North Little Rock, AR 72113.   Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Windsong Church of Christ.
