Joyce Hamilton age 94 of Sherwood passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019. She was born on May 18, 1925 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to the late Cleveland and Millie Hudson. Joyce has joined her beloved husband Milo, and other loved ones who preceded her in death. Before retiring, Joyce spent 37 years as a school teacher and Sunday school teacher for Pulaski County School District and Sherwood First Baptist Church. She was a voracious reader, bird watcher, and Razorback fan. Joyce was delighted in the antics of her four grandchildren and then their children, to whom she will forever be "Meme".

Joyce is survived by daughters, Gail Lack(Richard), Jan Runyan(Pip Runyan deceased); grandchildren, Andy Runyan (Sarah), Kelly Lack (Jon Solorzano), Whitney Luth(Cameron), and Katy Lack; four great grand children with another on the way.

By her request there will be a private memorial held for family. Donations in her memory may be given to the Humane Society or Sherwood Animal shelter.  Cremation services are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
