Julie Ann (Dykes) Humphrey, 67, born October 4, 1958, in Van Buren, Crawford County, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas, surrounded by loved ones.
She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, submissive soul, and tender heart, which made it hard for her to say “no” to anyone or turn away someone in need of help, even if she needed it more than they did.
She is survived by her children, Michael Dewayne Dykes, Jeremy Lane Dykes, twin daughters, Amber Dawn (Kruse) Wilson, Misty Dawn (Kruse) Dake, her siblings Gayle Lynne (Boggs) Coleman, her twin, Judy Ann (Dykes) Hart, Laura Lea (Boggs) Wald, Bruce Winfield Boggs, Denise Michelle (Boggs) Boggs-Moore, Kimberly Danelle Boggs, Valarie Christine (Boggs) Miller, and John Wayland Boggs, as well as 10 beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce NMN (Mann) Niles, and William Earl Kim Dykes; her siblings, Alan Wayne Boggs and Timothy Patrick Boggs, as well as her youngest son, Jamie Lane Higgins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on April 18, 2026, at Southside Assembly of God, 750 S Broadway Avenue, Booneville, AR. 72927, by Julie’s maternal cousin, Pastor Michael E. Breedlove.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, for their excellent care and compassion while she was hospitalized, as well as Cremation Services of Arkansas for their assistance and guidance during this difficult time.
