Karla Ruth Meier, 55, passed away on July 23, 2026 in Conway, Arkansas. She was born on January 5, 1971 to the late Linda Glasscock and Alvin Butler of Magnolia. She graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1989.

Karla lived life with unwavering authenticity. She was a woman of clear convictions and boundless heart, someone who loved her family fiercely, stood up without hesitation for those she cared about, and brought an unmatched warmth and protective shelter to her inner circle. Known for her sharp wit, direct honesty, and steadfast strength, she was the steady anchor and nurturing heart of her family. Nothing brought her more joy than being a dedicated mother to her two children.

Her love left an indelible mark on her family and friends, defined by a genuine care and devotion that will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, John Meier, Sr.; her children, John Meier, Jr. and Karmyn Jewel Meier; her sister, Kristie Crutcher Berry; and her brothers, Alvin and Jeff Butler; along with a wide circle of extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who will miss her dearly. A private celebration of life was held at her home in Conway on August 8, 2026.
