Kenneth Darrell Freeman, 65, of Pleasant Plains, surrounded by family passed from this life, on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Kenneth was born June 14, 1954 in Newport, Arkansas to Letty Ruth Hays Freeman and Ethyl Allen Freeman.

Kenneth was a disabled truck driver and proudly taught his son Matthew this job skill. Kenneth loved fishing and enjoyed spending hours on the creek fishing with his family and friends. Kenneth loved all sports and most of all baseball. Kenneth enjoyed teaching young people his love for the game of baseball and spent many years coaching baseball for the summer baseball program in Pleasant Plains. Kenneth also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his three children, Shannon Lynn Freeman Strother (Michael) of Floral, Shellie Ann Freeman of Thida, and Matthew Darrell Freeman (Amber) of Blackland, grandchildren Lyndise, Jaycie, Shane, Gavin, Shaie, Beckett, Peyton, and Alice, one great grandchild Novalie, siblings, six brothers Gaylord Freeman, Henry (Red) Freeman, Presley Freeman, Raymond Freeman, Wayne Freeman, Timothy (Bobo) Freeman, and one sister Letty Sue Freeman Addington. He is preceded in death by his wife Debbie Lynn Addington Freeman and his parents Ethyl Allen Freeman and Letty Ruth Hays Freeman.

Kenneth has requested no services be held in his honor, but instead he would like his family and friends to remember him with happy and joyful life memories filled with laughter and most of all love.

The family would like to offer a special thanks and recognition of gratitude for the excellent home health care provided to our loved one by, Brenda Bumpous, a truly wonderful care provider with White River Area on Aging.
