August 26, 1939 - April 2, 2022

Linda Kay Armstrong Griffin was born in Pea Ridge, Arkansas to Pryor Armstrong and Virginia McKnight Armstrong.  She succumb after years of complications of Parkinson's and recent years of dementia.

Linda was married to the love of her life on October 31, 1959.  Her main purpose in life was to take care of him and her girls.  He preceded her in death on January 19, 2021and they shared 61 beautiful loving years together.  After he passed away, she was never the same.

Linda is survived by two daughters, Kara Ann Griffin of Bryant, Arkansas and Kona Griffin (Billy) Meier of Poteau, Oklahoma; sister, Pat (Leo) Desmarais of Granby, Massachusetts; brother, Darren Armstrong of Arkansas; many nieces and nephews.

Linda was a devoted preacher's wife and mom.  She was very talented seamstress making many of the girls' clothes, bed frames and much more when the girls got older.  Linda worked as a substitute teacher, owned and ran Montgomery Ward catalog store, managed retail clothing stores and was a banker.

She never met a stranger and was loved by all that met her.  Linda especially enjoyed spending time with her girls and friends cooking and playing games.  It was a joy for her to see all around her happy.  She was her girl's best friend and they will miss her dearly.  We will all miss her infectious smile, laugh and her overall positive attitude.  Linda was the best friend, wife and person.
