Linda Kaye Koubek , known to her family as Neen, 70, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, March 27, 2020 while in hospice care after a short battle with cancer.

Linda was born December 17, 1949, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Mary Kaye Koubek (Knott) and Al Koubek. She had one brother, Frank Koubek, who predeceased her. She grew up running around with her lifelong friends, Debbie Pace Foster, Melinda Railey and Skip Martin and so many other friends. She was a graduate of Arkansas State University. After college she served in the Army National Guard. She started out her work life teaching science and later became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). She retired from Financial Planning and began investing in real estate once she figured out rental properties were more fun and allowed her to indulge her love of being outdoors. She loved having adventures, hiking, biking, trying to garden and her dogs. Most that knew her would say the wettest and coldest they had ever been was with Linda Koubek.

She is survived by her most favorite human being on earth, her grandson, Nash Jordan of Little Rock and his mother Robin Jordan also of Little Rock, her dearest friend and "Other Grandmother", Mary Nash of Maumelle, Mary's son Jim Nash of Cornelius, North Carolina, her "heart adopted" grandchildren, Jorge, Carlos and Ruben Mandujano, Milton and Cameron Rodriguez, Roberto, Ashley and Kimberly Esquivel, their parents, her four-legged baby, Oakley Koubek, her lifelong friends and so many others whose lives she touched and who loved her in return.

As was her nature, she requested no formal service be held. In her memory and to honor her, all we ask is that you hold your family closer and love them deeper, and consider donating to your local women's shelter, animal shelter or animal rescue.
