On September 15th, 2020, Macario Jose Jaramillo, 75, born in Trujillo, New Mexico went to be with the Lord. He is survived by his five children Michelle, Bryan, Seth, Timothy, and Micah, and 17 grandchildren. He is also survived by 6 siblings, 20 nieces and nephews, and 37 great nieces and nephews.
A Captain in the U.S. Army, Mac served his country during the Vietnam War and finished his service with an Honorable Discharge. Mac was a businessman who started two successful businesses during his lifetime, and he was a loving and caring father who instilled his values and faith onto his children. He showed his children the rewards for hard work and determination, and Mac was never afraid of a challenge and committed himself whole-heartedly on trying to make a better life for his family. Mac shared his favorite memories of fishing and spending time in the mountains of Colorado. He taught his children how to fish, in order to partake in this simple pleasure of life.
Mac will be missed immensely by his children and family. As a celebration of life, his memorial service will be held in Denver, Colorado at Newcomer Funeral home on October 7th, 2020 @ 11:30. His final resting place will be next to his loving wife, Laura Jaramillo, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver Colorado, with full military honors.
