Ida Margaret "Mickey" Pritchard Fitzgerald, aged 88 of Conway, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2023.

Mickey was born in Lake Village, Arkansas on February 9, 1935 to Louis Long and Charline Hemingway Pritchard. She graduated from Dermott High School. Later in life she attended University of Central Arkansas and went on to work in administration at Independent Living of Conway, a place she held close to her heart because her daughter, Elizabeth, was a resident.

Mickey was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, with which she co-founded--alongside her lifelong friend, Martha, and another member, Wade--a "pay what you can/pass the hat" funded annual convention of members from five states: Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Illinois. The convention is called Five Corners, and they just had their 41st meeting in February. She was also a sponsor to many people throughout her 46 years in the program.

She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Alton, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her lifelong friend, Martha, and by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann "Lizzie" Davis.

She is survived by a daughter Dela Harper (Paul) of Fordyce, son-in-law Tony Leftwich of Greenbrier, son David Davis (Liz) of Paron, son Roy Rhodes (Leighanne) of Carlinville Illinois, son William Fitzgerald (Crystal) of Greenbrier, daughter Christa Fitzgerald of Greenbrier, and a special friend, Rosie Jackson, of Alton, Illinois. She leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank all the wonderful ladies and gentlemen who took care of her at Superior Nursing Home in Conway, with an extra special thanks to her sweet aide, Mei Shelton.

There will be a memorial service announced at a later date.
