Margaret Elaine “Shug” Landrum, age 83 of Maumelle passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Maumelle. She was born on January 30, 1943 in Tiptonville, Tennessee to the late Ernie and Maggie Michaelcheck Pierce. Shug graduated from Tiptonville High School in 1961. While attending Lambuth College in Jackson, Tennessee, she met her future husband, Robert Landrum. In 1966, Shug graduated with a degree in Education. On March 19, 1967, she married Robert in Tiptonville, Tennessee. They moved to Little Rock in 1981. Shug was a teacher at Little Rock Christian until she retired in 2010.  She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and a longtime support of Little Rock Trojans Athletics.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Landrum of Maumelle; son, Mike Landrum and his wife, Shannon of Little Rock; sister-in-law, Teresa Miller of Granbury, Texas; brother-in-law, Randy Elvington of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
