Martha Robinson Gale "Sam" Sweeten, age 91, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away on November 18, 2022, at Stella Manor and Rehabilitation Center in Russellville. She was born on September 26, 1931, in Marianna, to Allen C. and Kathryn Porter Robinson. She graduated from ASTC (now UCA) in 1952 after which she married the love of her life, Norman Gale. She spent most of her adult life in Jasper and Ozone. She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Richard Smith; a daughter, Martha Kathryn Sweeten Hambrick of Fort Smith; and husband Norman Gale.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Gale (Chris) McNutt of Conway; three granddaughters all of Conway: Laura (Dan) Johnson, Cheyenne Sweeten, and Samantha (Aaron) Norman; seven great-grandchildren; a nephew Allen Smith; niece Charlotte Smith; sisters, Ann Hampton and Mary Medley of Irondale, Missouri; and many friends and loved ones.
