Gordon Singleton

Mary Rosalyn Gordon Singleton, 77, of Hensley, Arkansas, passed away on June 6, 2024, at her home. Born on June 19, 1946, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Henry Otto and Mary Frances (Ledbetter) Gordon. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Harrington
Mary graduated from North Little Rock High School and dedicated many years to the Little Rock School District as the Director of Kitchen Services. Mary enjoyed going to yard sales. She was a collector of figurines and clocks and enjoyed watching soap operas, playing card games and singing "Delta Dawn." However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her adored grandchildren, Scott and Ava. She took immense pride in their achievements and always celebrated their successes with joy and enthusiasm.
Mary will be remembered as a sweet, gentle soul and a peacekeeper who never spoke negatively about anyone. Her dedication to her family and her role as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother will be her enduring legacy.

Singleton, her daughters, Cindy Gowen (Jim) and Wendy Hicks (Keith), her grandchildren, Scott Gowen and Ava Hicks, her brother William (Jo) Gordon, and brother-in-law Carroll (Ray) Jones.
