Mary Rose Story Simmons, 89, of Little Rock, passed away on August 7, 2019.  She was born December 2, 1929 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late VB and Norma Story. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Judy Simmons and Melissa Shope; brothers, Jack and Dick Story.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hopper (Everett); grandchildren; Jon Shope, Lisa Teters (Buddy), Brandy McIntire (Seth), Carson Hopper; great-grandchildren Emilee, Andrew, Noah, Chloe and Lucy. Other survivors include her sister, Nancy Toland; sister-in-law, Laura Story and a large family of nieces, nephews and their families.

Mom worked well past retirement age and loved her job as a Food Sales Rep. She loved the Hogs!

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Pulaski Heights Methodist Church. A reception will follow service.
