Nathan Arvad Ellis, 64, of Mabelvale, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024.  He was born on September 7, 1959 in Niagra Falls, New York to Arvid Ellis and Joy Ramey.   Nathan was preceded in death by his parents, Arvad Ellis and Joy Haggard; sister, Diane Barnes; brother, Clayton Ellis.

He loved camping, fishing and cooking. He was honored to serve as a Sheriff's Deputy for the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office. Nathan was a very intelligent and caring man. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.

Nathan is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Scott) Thomisee, April (JR) Vance; three grand-children, Brandon Thomisee, Terrance Ellis, Precious Vance; many other family members.

A memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Lonoke Assembly of God. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
