IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Norman Dale
Dahmen-Jones
May 3, 1951 – January 31, 2021
Dale Norman Dahmen-Jones, age 70, of Hensley Arkansas, died on January 30, 2021. Dale was born in Texas and live for many years outside of Seattle, Washington. He and his wife of 40 years, Vikki lived the remainder of his life on a beautiful lake in Hensley. They spent much of their time making their house into a home completing many home improvements projects. Some of my favorite memories were having my morning coffee on their dock and listening to natures sounds just spending quite time together.
Dale was a lifelong disabilities advocate. He touched the lives of many people who were never fortunate enough to have met him personally. He loved the Seattle Mariners baseball team and rarely missed one of their games. He was one of the first Seattle Seahawk season ticket holders and only gave up his seats when he and Vikki moved to Arkansas. Dale was an animal lover, especially dogs and shared his fondness with these four-legged friends most of his life. Dale taught me how to play pool and we spent many happy hours at the 211 Club in Seattle enjoying this pastime. Another favorite pastime was camping. Dale shared his love of the outdoors with my son Devan and taught him all about snipe hunting. Our families would camp together several times a summer, these trips always included our dogs, sometimes as many as eight. We never worried about forest creatures coming into camp and taking our food.
Dale is survived by his wife Vikki and brother Jack. He will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
