Peggy Collie Johnston passed away peacefully on November 14, 2019 at age 96. She was a kind and gentle person who had a fine sense of humor. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, PH "Johnny" Johnston, her parents, James and Agnes Collie, brother Hugh, sisters Norma and Dorothy, and grandson, Jimmy.

She is survived by her four children Jim, Sally (Dick Stoker), Carol (Steve St.John) and Scot (Jane), 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Peggy was a wonderful artist and an active member of Mid-Southern Watercolorists for many years. She was juried into 9 Annual Exhibitions from 1973 – 1998, and won several awards for her paintings.

The family wishes to extend many thanks to Hospice Home Health and the fine staff at Brookdale Chenal Heights, all of whom contributed to Peggy's peaceful transition. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Alzheimer's Association, Hospice Home Health, St. Mark's Episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.
