Obituary

Richard M. "Dick" White, age 80, left this life Saturday February 20, 2021.  Mr. White was born April 12, 1940 to parents Margaret (Ramsey) and Melvin White.  He graduated from Mayflower High School in 1958. He was the Manager for the basketball Team for two (2) years. Ironically, Mr. White was only 5'5" tall. He had a sense of humor,

His laugh was infectious and he loved his family. His kind and loving nature was obvious.  He just looked like a nice guy and he was. Mr. White was a good man and if you knew him.  You know this to be true. He was a loving son, father,grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed.  Mr. White was preceded in death by many loving relatives and his parents, his younger sister Virgina "Ginger" Cole, his Granddaughter Amanda (8) and his Grandson, Eric (25).

Mr. White retired after 25 years with Sherwin Williams Paint where he was a leader and professional in house and automotive finishings.
Mr. White was married for 53 years to Martha N. White (Hill) and reside in Little Rock. They have two children, Charles Scott Sheriff who is married to Deanna Sheriff of St. Louis and they have three children Billy, Kristen (Joe, Bear and Bell) and Colleen (Todd) and Lisa (James) of Little Rock, her children, Amanda and Eric. He is also survived by his brother, Joe D. White (Debbie) of Hot Springs, half brother, Wayne Norwood, Inlaws Ed and Lynda Mckenney of Texas and Phillip Cole of Little Rock. Nieces and nephews, Jerry, Larry, Melinda, Steven, David, Rhonda, Jeff, Jinny and Jason. Cousins Kaye Grable of Tennessee and Buddy Ratliff of Lake Village, Ar.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering in April, where we will share stories and photos and remember and honor his life together. For more information please call Lisa @ 501-413-0303.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the ASPCA, The Humane Society or an animal shelter in your area.
