Ricky Joe Melton age 61 of Tyronza, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock.  He was born on June 30, 1961 in Charleston, Mississippi to Mary Elizabeth Gordon and James William Melton.  Ricky was a man who loved his family.  He was a friend that was always there when you needed him.  Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, James Melton and Elizabeth Lakey; brothers, Phillip Melton, Maxie Melton, Tex Melton and James Melton, Jr.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Theresa "Terri" Melton; sons, Jake (Carleigh) Melton of Tupelo, Mississippi, Matt (Hannah) Melton of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Ryan Melton of Paducah, Kentucky, and Michael Melton of Tyronza, Arkansas; daughter, Caitie Melton of West Memphis; grandchildren, Harper Melton , James Melton, AJ Hampton, Max Melton and Lucas Melton; brother-in-law Chris (Evelyn) Brown of Marion, Arkansas; nephew, Ladarius White; niece, Kira Brown; brother, Larry Melton of Charleston, Mississippi; many other family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Ricky's life will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, January, 23, 2023 at Victory Church of the Mid-South 897 Angel's Way Marion, Arkansas 72364. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
