Robert D. Northern age 60 passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Evergreen Living Center in Bryant, Arkansas.   He was born on August 8, 1966 in Little Rock to Robert Northern and Linda Evans.  His name was Robert but to his loved ones he was Buba.  He was a master mechanic and could fix anything.  Buba would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.   You could always count on Buba to be there to help others.  Buba was one of the funniest person.  He could make your day bright even when you were down .  Buba had a nickname for everyone, he called his mother  mother dear/Ethal; his brother, Eddie was headly Lamar; his niece Kailey was Marie; his nephew Robert was RJ.  Buba literally had a nickname for every single person he had in his life even if it was short term.  He was the type of person who was a true friend through good times and bad times.  He was truly loved and will be missed greatly.  Buba was preceded in death by his biological father, Robert Eugene Northern and his dad, William Barton.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Barton; eight siblings, Eddie Northern of Alexander, AR, Tracy Kyzer of Sardis AR, Tammy (Mark) Quesada of Malvern, AR, Kenneth (Sondra) Northern of Clarendon, AR, Greg Northern and Melissa Northern of Malvern, AR, Audrey Martin and Patricia Kennedy of Benton, AR; nieces and nephews, Kailey (Karlie) Northern of Alexander, AR, Robert O'Neal of Alexander, AR, Peyton Kyzer of Sardis, AR, McKenna (Grayson) Alexander of Sardis, AR, Markie Quesada and Amber Quesada of Malvern, AR.
