Roy Samuel Patton, age 65 of Benton passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Jefferson Regional Hospital in Pine Bluff.  He was born on September 17, 1955 in Dumas, Arkansas to Vivian L Hagins Patton and Lawrence B. Patton.   Roy was preceded in death by wife, Jan Patton; parents, Vivian and Lawrence Patton; sisters, Shirley Minor, Bonnie Briney, and Pat Dalton; brothers, Hamp Patton, Billy Patton and Lawrence Carol Patton.

Roy is survived by son, Adam Patton; sisters, L'Orchid (Don) Birch, Nancy (Phil) Dunn, Tullaha (Allen) Maxey, Nita Cowen, Lana (James) McNeely, Wanda Whitaker, Elaine Tillman; three grandsons; two great grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Roy's life will be held at later date.  The family wishes instead of flowers that a donation be made to a charity of your choice.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
