Ruth Ann Coger, age 74 passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at her home in Bryant with her family by her side. She was born on March 5, 1948 in Nashville, Arkansas to Jacqueline Jo Billings and Charles Edwin Chandler. Ruth was a teacher for over 40 years and loved her babies. Ruth and Larry were high school sweethearts and have been together for over sixty years. She enjoyed camping at Dierks Lake and being at the baseball field watching her grandsons play baseball. Ruth is survived by husband, Larry Coger of Bryant; daughter, Stacey and Jaymes Ply of Little Rock; son, Russell Coger of Mount Vernon, Arkansas; four brothers, Charles Chandler, Mike Chandler, Ronnie Chandler, Roger Chandler all of Nashville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Allie and Blake Seavers of Nashville AR, Audrey and Caleb Atwell of Hammond, Louisiana, Levi Coger of Mount Vernon, Austin and Caroline Ply of Little Rock, Ashtyn and Addyson Ply of Little Rock, Bradyn Coger of Bryant; great grandchildren, Tristen, Keaton and Aubrie of
Nashville; numerous nieces and nephews; other family and friends whom she loved dearly.
A celebration of Ruth's life will be 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Blue Bayou Church of Christ 147 Blue Bayou W. Road Nashville, Arkansas with Ray Rogers officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
