Obituary

How do you condense a life as magnificent and loving as Sahreth Bowden’s down into a few paragraphs and sentences? I’ve been rolling that thought around in my head since his passing and I realized what an impossible task that is, but after 15 years of marriage, this is what I know with absolute certainty.

He loved his wife, and he loved living for the life they built together with chosen family and friends. He fought with his numerous health issues for the entirety of his life, sick since an early age yet resilient like no other. Every limit placed on him was his to overcome, every countdown given an hourglass to break. He defied the odds time and again despite so many factors in his own genetics working against him. And never once did he let the world turn him cold or make him hateful. He loved beyond measure and always held out a hand to those in need.

His harsh and oftentimes painful walk through life gave him a unique perspective and strength, showing love and respect for those who gave the same freely, regardless of their similarities or differences. He respected all who approached him with dignity and fairness, carrying and sharing his own unique beliefs yet honoring that which made us all both different and the same in heart and spirit. He gave his wife 15 years of love with unwavering, undeniable depth that will live on in the hearts and memories of everyone that ever had the chance to know them. He was a writer of many tales, spinning fiction with such power and detail; some works known and some that will remain unfinished and unread…yet his own story is one that was cut short far too soon as most agree.

He will be dearly missed for the rest of our days, survived by his wife Ariel, and his best friend Auréllia, living out the promise made to live on in his honor and cherish his memory…

“Never one without the other…”
