Sandra Jean Lawson age 79 of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock.  She was born on August 3, 1944 in Middlefield, Ohio to Uarda (Hopkins) and Floyd E. Fisher.  Sandy was preceded in death by parents, Uarda and Floyd Fisher; great granddaughter, Blakely Green.

After moving from Ohio to California, Sandy met the love of her life Ronnie Lawson.  Ronnie and Sandy married on October 24, 1964 in Las Vegas.  They moved to Arkansas where Sandy worked for many years at Marshall Road Pharmacy.

Sandy loved their dogs with all her heart. She will be greeted by many wagging tails. In addition to spending time with all their animals, she created many little gardens in the yard and had a variety of blooming plants to enjoy while feeding hummingbirds and songbirds. Sandy enjoyed decorating the yard for the holidays. She had many wonderful collections, the biggest of those was her amazing collection of cookie jars.

She is survived by husband, Ronnie Lawson; children, Donald (Rhonda) Clegg of Sherwood, Arkansas and Ronnie (Treva) Lawson Jr of Hinton, Oklahoma; grandchild, Tiffany (Blake) Green of Sherwood; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Green and Gavin Green.

The family plans to have a private memorial service at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Gray Cemetery, White County, Arkansas.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
