Shawn Michael Meeks, age 52, of Little Rock, AR went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Shawn was born to the late Marion and Linda Meeks on August 16, 1969, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Shawn is survived by two children, Austin Allen Meeks and Christopher Chandler (Kristina) Meeks of Little Rock; sister, Tammie Lynn (Robert) Cash of Little Rock; grandchildren, Charleigh Ann Meeks and AddiLee Carol Drake of Little Rock; one baby on the way, (which is due two days after Shawn's birthday) Mckinley Jay Meeks; and one nephew, Codie Crawford Cash, of Little Rock.

He was passionate about faith, family, fishing and hunting. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church and loved his church family dearly. Shawn had a deep relationship with our Lord and Savior and strived to maintain his deep relationship with Christ. Shawn was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He worked for Flynco Construction and thoroughly enjoyed his co-workers. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, co-workers and all who loved him.

A celebration of life service will be held at New Life Baptist Church, 10765 Samples Road, Alexander, Arkansas 72002 Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:00 am. Memorials may be made to the Celebrate Recovery Program at Crossroads Baptist Church; 18900 Congo Ferndale Road; Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
