Shirley passed away in her sleep, peacefully at Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her hardworking care staff. She was loved for her spunky attitude at Good Shepherd and her previous residence, Southern Trace. The teams at each of these facilities loved to laugh with the good times and supported Shirley's granddaughter in this transitional period.

Shirley is loved by friends and greets many angels she's met along the way. You'd never go hungry or cold when around Shirley, she was feisty but giving. Her love was tough but fierce and if you were in her in club, you knew it. She was infamous for her hats, cows, butterflies, and other trinkets she found special. She adored spending time with her great grandchildren and taking them out shopping, eating, or voting and making sure to tell anyone who glanced at them they were her GREAT grandchildren, and they were great to her indeed.

Shirley's passing leaves behind her daughter, Lisa Efting (Mike Efting);  granddaughters, Ashley Beaty (Meagan Beaty) and Paige Beaty (Spencer English); great grandchildren, Lexton, Elias, and Gemma Beaty. As well as her still adored three granddaughters, Tabitha, Miranda, and Brianna though lost touch with time and life, and her other daughter and son-in-law. She'll be greeted in Heaven by Billy Joe Adams (husband); Rex Beaty, (son-in-law), Hershey, Angel, and many friends, including her bestie Shirley! As well as siblings, her parents, nieces, and nephews she adored through her years.

Memorial service is to be held December 22, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to veterans services of your choosing.   Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
